There is no right or wrong way of masturbating, it is however you feel most comfortable and whichever makes you feel best. If the way you are doing it at the moment doesn't seem to be having that much effect then try using toys, or a different position. But there is no right way of doing things so just go with whatever you like.

Well maybe you are not that turned on. To get yourself excited, you could try some visual stimulation. Look at something (a movie or image) that turns you on.
And when you touch yourself try to touch your clitoris. That is the most sensitive spot on your private.
