Yes, to prevent UTI, pee after sex. Also drink cranberry juice or take cranberry pills. If you can't stand cranberry juice drink orange juice or other juices with high level of acid. This creates a hostile environment for the bacteria that causes UTI. Keep dressing warm as well, no skirts in very cold winter weather for example, and not sitting on cold surfaces for too long.

Sounds like urinary tract infection to me. A new partner can often be the cause of an infection because of the different bacteria's they bring with them. This is normal, everyone has healthy bacteria down there, but when two sets are mixed it doesn't always end well. Urinary tract infection can come from almost anything, but a new partner is on the list of known causes.
Go see your doctor and have a check-up.

Go and see your doctor and have it checked properly. It could be that the rough sex has caused a urine infection. It can happen. Speak to your doctor.

If you can completely trust your latest partner and had protected sex, then yes, what you have can be normal after a hammer-and-tongs session! Just have to wait it out. However, if you have any doubt about your partner - see your doc/ GUM clinic immediately.
