Do you know how to handle this for your own sake, esteem and relationship sake? Do the exact opposite of what you normally would do.
Instead of freaking out that your boyfriend has checked out another girl, point out girls for him to check out. Go into this territory. Think like a man does. He will subconsciously realise that you have a high level of self esteem and it will change the way he views you, in a good way ofcourse.
Don't over do it though - you don't want to lead your man into the path of 3some's etc. You just want to touch on the subject long enough for him to realise that you appreciate women, good looking or not, as women and not as threats to you.
There is nothing sexier than a woman with a high level of self esteem.

 Yes, you should trust your boyfriend - unless of course he has given you a reason in the past not to.
All guys "check out" girls they see to some extent or other and it's nothing to worry about - and especially not when it's someone famous.
Just because their eyes might wander from time to time, it doesn't mean that their hearts do too.
