Hi people,

Just found out my partner is 4 weeks pregnant.

I was just researching about tips for fathering, I researched about males thoughts on pregnancy and alot of it is negative! Some of them say my husband is not excited about our pregnancy and that and I don't want to feel like a idiot because I'm so excited that my partner is pregnant. I just can't wait till it comes and when we go shopping soon for clothes, bottles, and everything. We have 8 months to go and I just can't wait!!

Am I weird being excited?

Nah, many of these guys were not ready to be dads and just see a kid as a 20 year commitment.

If they just see a kid as a tie that will stop them going on holiday and keep them up all night then of course they are going to be not excited.

If you planned this and planned to spend the next 20 years with your partner and are ready to settle down and spend your cash on babies rather than football then that's great!

Be as excited as you can. She is going to need you more than ever as she sees her body getting all stretched out and swollen.

Good Luck!! xx
