Summer is coming and I have purchased some skimpy clothes, such as short shorts, micro miniskirts, tubetops, and some short sundresses. I have worn some of these out already and have been whistled at and have had men's heads turning like crazy. Is it ok to showoff a little?

Sure. If you got it flaunt it. I know I would.

Why not? You worked hard to shed the pounds you didn't want. However like one of the aunties pointed out, you might get the kind of attention you don't want.. So BARE that in mind :)
Sometimes something as simple as the right fit can make a HUGE difference.

While it is great that you feel more secure with your looks, dressing in revealing clothes will get you attention- but not necessarily the right kind of attention. Guys who only go for you based on your looks are extremely shallow and will eventually get bored and look for their new target in a short skirt. Wear clothes that flatter you and you feel comfortable, without showing too much skin.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with showing off your new body as long as you feel comfortable. After all you put in all that time to exercise and eat right, think of all the attention as one of the many rewards for your hard work plus its a serious boost to you confidence level. Its kinda funny but i was rail thin growing, but put ON 25lbs of muscle in college, suddenly every girl wanted to feel my arms. It was a bit much at first but you get used to it and learn to enjoy it after awhile. So enjoy your new body and all the attention you've been getting/will get.

It's okay to show off a little, but I really hope that you're not wearing the micromini with the tube top! You need to choose a part of your body to showcase (say, your legs), and be more modest with the rest of you. If you are showing off more than one body part, you'll look a little skanky (sorry). For instance, showing off a lot of leg and a lot of cleavage - that's far from classy, that's just too much. You'll get the wrong kind of attention.
No shame in embracing your new figure, no shame in showing off, just don't go crazy and show off way too much! You want people looking at you and going "wow, she looks great", you don't want to shock people, make Mother's cover their kids eyes or attract guys who see you as nothing more than exposed T&A. You can be totally sexy, but without being outrageous!
Good luck, sweetness.
