 I can say this much. Semen is produced regularly. If it doesn't find its way out because of intercourse or masturbation, it goes out spontaneously. That is what we call a "wet dream". That is to say, masturbation or intercourse = no wet dreams.

 yeah i only had one wet dream and i hadn't had a wank in a while at the time. its related to the level of frustration you have. also regularly releaseing sperm makes you more fertile so maybe its a reproductive strategy
