It's not really a problem you know, people express emotion in different ways.
Maybe you just have a lot of emotion bottled up that needs releasing and creativity is good for this.
You can make or buy a special little gift and say nothing.
you can paint a picture.
write a poem.
These feelings you can express and not even give to the person but you may feel better for expressing feeling.
Dancing is good too to release feelings.
Words are not always needed and are often hard to find especially in families that don't express much. Don't worry just be you.

Hiya hun I know how u feel! I cant tell my mum anything especially not about relationships, I find it very difficult. It took me 6 months to introduce her to my boyfriend but once I did it he was welcomed and everything is easier now.No matter what your family love you and if you take a deep breath and just tell them whatever it is as soon as you have finished you will feel better.Good Luck xx
