 You really don't need to worry about this. Discovering that a woman is wet is a turn on. It's sexy. It makes the guy feel like you really want him. I don't think it's something you should worry about at all - I think your BF is telling the truth when he says it turns him on.
As far as feeling too "loose", maybe try some different positions?
