I didnt bleed my first time. I think you would proabably bleed if he went hard on you..but I know my bf went really slow and as gently as possible for awhile when we first starting having sex. So maybe he was gentle...or u just simply didnt bleed.

I never bleeded when I had sex for the first time. The belief that if you dont bleed when you have sex, means you must not be a virgin is an outdated beleif. These days many girls hymen is broken before they have sex from things such as exercise or using tampons. Tell your bf this. If you feel you need to, you could find a web site that talks about it and get him to have a look. Maybe he wil beleif you if he reads an expert saying it. Maybe you btoh could go to the doctor together and talk about it.

A male reader, legacy United States +, writes (13 August 2007):

Your boyfriend has some trust issues there. But that doesn't help you with your question. My wife had three lovers before me with sexual penetration. When we got together and made love she bled like she was a virgin. Strange huh? Her gynecologist told her this can happen even with previous sexual activity depending upon your body. So it is possible and if he demands that you produce the bleeding maybe have him talk with a gynecologist about this.

GoddamnedROCKSTAR agony auntSome girls don't bleed. Some girls don't have 'cherries' at all. And sometimes, even still, it just stretches to the side and doesn't rip. It's perfectly normal, babe.
