Under 18? ILLEGAL! One must be 18 or older to engage in sexual activities such as sex. That 27 year old is very smart to wait until you are 18. It shows he is respectfull.

I dont know if its the same in the UK but in Australia the legal age is 16, BUT if you are over 18 it is illegal for you to have sex with someone under 18! So if your 16 or 17 you can only have sex with someone 16 or 17

Hi,
Its not illegal for him to have sex with you, because you are over 16. Although maybe he see's it as slightly immoral, and good for him.
There are to many guys out there that dont give a damn about sleeping with a younger girl. So you should think yourself lucky at how respectfull your fella is. Maybe he is waiting for you to reach 18.

Yes it fine, you are over 16 which is the legal age in the UK.
Maybe he is saying no for another reason? He may not feel ok about it because of the age differance. At 27 a 17 year old may just seem 'to young' to morraly have sex with.
