Anyways, I went out with her for a long time, and was able to keep a healthy relationship with her, even without sexual contact. The problem arises when you want to move on to that stage... but she isn't old enough. Don't listen to the people who say she is immature, I mean they have no way of knowing unless they actually know this girl. Anyway, if you have this desire for a long time it can end up in adultery, which you might not want. So go for it man - but be prepared for a wait.

Godsakes man what are you thiking of

No it's not ilegal for you to go out with her. But keep it as a friendship. You have all the time in the world to let this relationship develop as you get older.
Good luck.x

Well, it is certainly legal to "go out with" her. You can legally "go out with" a 12 year old (assuming you could get her parents approval!)
Sex, or sexual contact, is another matter though. You should check on the age of consent laws for your country or state. You need to look into the details, not just "the age", as many state laws in the USA have exceptions when the age difference is not too great. For example, a 15 year old might be able to legally have sex with a 16 or 17 year old, but not with a 25 year old.
That said, if sex between the two of you is legal in your area, please treat her with respect. Her decision to have or not have sex should be made without any pressure, coercion, or manipulation from you.

I don't think there's actually any law anywhere about going out with a minor, only about having sex. most places the age of consent is 16 but check that out. as long as you're not getting to that stage yet then you are not breaking any law

This depends on what the local laws are where you live. In most US states the "age of consent" (for sexual contact) is 16, but in some states it's 17 or 18. If you're in America, you may need to look it up for your State. In the UK and in Australia, the age of consent is 16.
Therefore, it's not likely to be "illegal" for you two to merely go out with each other, but there could be an issue of sexual misconduct or statutory rape or some other charge if you two have sex.
So, don't.
If you care for this girl, you'll want to do the right thing by her, respecting her, following your local laws, and incidentally proving to her parents that you care for the person she is, not what you can "get" from her.
If you don't picture yourself waiting until she's legally old enough to give consent, then you probably should be dating another adult and not a minor.
Hope this helps.
