From her behaviour, she seemed to appreciate the student I was and was always trying to help me no matter the problem I was having. Anyway, long story cut short, I left college 10 years ago and lately we have been in touch through some texts, not very often. I got a text where she called me my darling, which my friend saw. She was horrified and thought that it was immoral to keep in touch with a teacher AFTER school. I wasnt sure why she was treating me as a perve... Btw, my teacher is married and have 2 kids. We dont meet or anything, just like I said a couple of texts here and there. Is it something that is considered bad?

Well this is just silly, the teacher in question is married with 2 kids and you just text each other now and then! So you are doing nothing wrong here, it is nice to have a teacher that looked out for you and for you to still be in touch!
Your friend is a bit weird for thinking bad of you for this, to have such a strong reaction to what is a completely normal friendship is very odd. I would just ignore her, it is nice that you are friends with your old teacher and you should not feel bad for keeping in touch with her.
Your friend is the one with the problem, not you.
I hope this helps!

I don't think so. I know many people that stay in touch with teachers after they graduate. Heck alot of teachers probably consider their students colleagues now!
I wouldn't get too worked up about the darling thing, either. If i had a dime for everytime i've been called "Darling" or "Dear" in recent years, i'd be able to retire.
Think your friend is getting worked up about nothing!
