i personaly think that it isnt a bad thing. If you are feeling that way it means that the relastionship was at an end and you just no longer have the feelings you once did for this person.

It depends on the circumstances. You do not seemed bothered about it yourself but I cannot help wondering if he took things a whole lot more seriously than you did.
If he was given the false impression by you that there was more in the relationship than you wanted there to be, then this is rather deceptive of you.
Then again if he just read more into it then maybe he should have sensed how unserious you were about it.
It might be an idea that you let future guys know how casual you want things to be then there will be less chance of them being hurt when you get fed up with and decide to chuck them.
