It is just your body reacting to your sexual excitement and preparing for intercourse. Not all women lubricate in the same amount and it can even vary depending on lots of things for each woman.
For a guy feeling you are wet is a sign you are enjoying what he is doing. This is a good thing. I doubt very much he was repulsed. More likely his reaction was closer to "Wow she is HOT"/"Wow I must be really good".
Turn it around, if you feel that he is rock hard does that repulse you? The harder and larger the erection the more excited the guy is, same as you getting wet.
So don't be embarresed. It is a normal and essential part of sex. Some women produce more lubrication then is needed and this can cause some practical problems such as soiled clothing but that is it.
