i was stood up by this man that i thought was interested in getting together.

well we talked on the phone prior to meeting. when the day came no him or phone call.

should i call him or should i wait for him to call. by the way this man is my ex.

Think first about why he's your ex. Often they're exs for a good reason so why go back?

If you want to go back and you care for him. Then phone, if only to say that you were disappointed that he never showed up but were worried he'd had an accident. Ensure he's ok and then just say ok then, good-bye. That puts the ball back in his court. If he wants you, let him do the running.
