the pill is around 97% protection from unwanted pregnancies and condoms are around 97% protection from pregnancies and sti's (although don't quote me on the stat's) it is still pretty high percentage and unlikely that you will get pregnant from either but it does still happen! if you have sex with strangers i'd defintely suggest using a condom and not just the pill because you don't know anything about the strangers sex lives.
most people just use condoms or just the pill if they trust that their partners don't sleep around.
why not speak to your GP or a sex counsellor and they'd be the best bet for correct advice

I would advise that you do use some extra contreception for yourself as well as a condom... need to use a condom to protect against sexual diseases... need to use extra contreception just to be that little bit more in control for every possible circumstance.
The point of the pill is to protect against unwanted pregnancy... I'm not sure what's avaliable for you but you could also look at other methods of contrecption (implant, patch, coil, injection.. the list goes on)I can advise you to a website of you like
But always use a condom

Both are good types of contraception but, as eyeswideopen said, none are 100% effective. If you want to be extra sure there can be no accidents, go on the pill and remember to take it religiously and use a condom. Plus, condoms protect you from nasty diseases too which the pill doesn't. Always better to be safe than sorry I say. xxx

To be 100% safe you should go on the pill as well as using a condom. Condoms can break. But use both because condoms help protect against STD's and the pill doesn't.
