writes:Im unsure of what this guy thinks of me. I met this guy about two weeks ago, and since then he has been non stopp texting me! Like 24/7! Some days I would go through $20 (Australian Dollars) worth of text messages. He said he thought I was pretty and really nice.However we havent really been on a date, well I dont think so anyway. We went to the beach the other night (nothing really happened) and my friends all said ti was a date because its a romantic place to go to.We are supppose to be going on a ferry to a island near by on the weekned just for a day trip- his idea. I duno if he likes me or not. I know it sounds stupid but I really am unsure, even though in a way it sounds obvious that he does like me.Every morning he sends me good morning text messages before I wake up, I think thats cute. The thing is though, yesterday he got sick with a cold, and he hasnt been as talkatve. He is sending me less messages and hasnt replied to the last one I sent, when he ALWAYS replies. He always has to have the last text it seems. But today he hasnt replied to my last one and its kinda got me worrying mabe he doesnt like me. And he said he may not beable to go on over to the island on the weekend cause hes sick. Am I just overreacting and worrying to much? or does he maybe not relaly like me?

reader, anonymous, writes (30 September 2007): This is verified as being by the original poster of the questionhey guys thanks for the advice :) just thought id let u know that he didnt try to contact me after all that, so i did contact him and he wasnt very enthusiastic. but i dindt give up just then...continued and suggestd we do something but he just made excusees. i guess he just didnt like me anymore? very confusing...i dont know what i did wrong, he seemed so keen!

Well, it sounds like he is into you! If hes been texting YOU all this time, then I think he's just sick and can't text you back. Don't worry about it. Send him a little "feel better!" text, and I'll bet as soon as he's feeling well again, he'll text you.

 HiIts tricky isnt it the early days! I know what you mean!It could just be because hes not well. It could be because you have been flat out txting and hes run out of things to say! It could be that hes skint now and used up his txt quota? He wouldnt come out n say that either cuz he might be proud. Its gonna be a wait n see thing. If you txt him last, i would now wait for him to reply. If i was you. There is a rule of thumb here, 1 call and 2 txt before leaving it. Otherwise you will come across as too keen or needy! I would go with that too.Keep us posted. Hope you still go on the ferry.Let us know when he gets in touch.Certainly sounds like he was keen!C xxxx
