But when we meet eachother in person she barely makes eye contact with me and she freezes up. She barely talked to me and was biting on her binder, nervously I guess. After I said goodbye I texted her asking if I was doing something wrong, she said I wasn't and she usually is just shy. This happened twice and I'm starting to wonder if she doesn't like me, that would suck because I really like her.

davedave is verified as being by the original poster of the questionThank you all, but what am I supposed to do when I'm around her? She doesn't really converse with me like she does with texts, I feel as if I'm talking at her rather than to her.

i think that she does like you, but is maybe just shy around males. you should tell her exactly how you feel about her, maybe her knowing just how you feel about may help her gain confidence around you and help her communicate more freely. Good Luck!

I think she does like you, but she is just as she says. Very shy. Give her time to open up, be a great guy to her and just be there and let her know that you you're there for her. She'll start to open up if you're patient and if she knows you care about her. Make sure you're understanding and that you listen to her, and if she's struggling to talk, gently ask her about herself. Don't push her or pressurize her, and don't make her feel as if she's doing anything wrong. Be patient, and be understanding and she'll open up to you. Good luck
