writes: i am so in love with my friend it hurts. i dont know how he feels about me.when we first became friends there was some flirting going on-more on m part because i fancied him and still do rotten. he says he enjoys my company and we get on very well. we chatted about dating hypothetically and he said he wouldnt want to lose a good friend but would date me. recently hes working in a different place to me so has been a little distant but called today and asked what i was doing tonight and wanted to go out with me but i couldnt as im working early and cant drink alcohol beore a shift. whats going on are we staying as friends. everytime i see him i get stronger feelings for him-would you say he may have feelings or me ?what should i do ?

I think he actually might feel the same way. These hints seem a lot like a man trying to subtly express a want, testing those expressions and observing your reactions. you should tell him and do not be afraid of losing him as a friend if you do. Things do not have to turn out that way.
