Your problem is your answer - your answer is your problem.
"If in doubt - leave it out" is my strong advice. You clearly are not ready for sex and may be feeling pressured by your girlfriend so, wait until it feels right. If that doesn't happen, then it's not fated to happen but will eventually, with the right girl.
Take it easy, take it slow.
