For a start Jadey, you really must try to stop stressing yourself out like this.
I can tell that you're understandably worried, it's really quite common to feel this way, but you must realise that babies can feel their mother's emotions from inside the womb, so you have to think positive thoughts and be happy during your pregnancy.
Your doctor has reassured you that your baby is healthy and growing well, so trust him, and anyway ~ the scan would have shown if there was anything wrong.
If you are really that worried, then like LazyGuy says, go get a second opinion.
If another another doctor told you the same, will that make you happier? Because if it will, then by all means go for it.
Remember to eat healthily, drink at least eight glasses of water a day, and if you like milk ~ then drink plenty of that too.
Now you take good care of yourself, and your baby will be fine.
Congratulations and good Luck.

Depends, are there reasons to worry? Your doctor doesn't seem to think so and he/she really does know best.
Yes, there is a remote chance that something happens, pregnancy and delivery are incredibly complex things but people have been having babies for ages.
All you can do is try to remain as healthy as possible and stop negative influences, eat healthy, get recommended excersise and avoid things like smoking or alcohol. Your doctor/midwife can give you plenty of advice on this subject.
If you doctor doesn't think there is anything wrong then there isn't anything wrong. If you want a second opinion, you can get it, new parents often worry themselves to death, wait till your baby coughs for the first time, you will be screaming for an ambulance.

I dont know your chances of miscarrying but if it helps i think your just going through a regular paranoid state that all mums go through.
ask your doctor i'm sure he or she will reassure you that there is nothing to worry about.
Just try to relax more it will probably help also don't stress out. And don't over work!
Good Luck! X
