I still don't get what you are trying to do.
Induce your period? I know that women sometimes use the pill to change their cycle so they are not menstruating during a holiday, no idea how, that is "need to know information" and I do NOT need to know.
But then what is this about tests? Pregnancy tests?
The pill only stops you getting pregnant, if you think you are pregnant there is nothing the pill can do.
The morning after pill should be taken within days of sex.
I don't see what business it is of your doctor wether you are on the pill or not especially since you are an adult. IF you just want to use the pill as regular birth control then that is your right as a free woman, no business of his. Talk to a different doctor, possibly via a special organisations like woman support or sexual education center or however these things are arranged in Ireland.
If you just want to use the pill to control your period, that is perfectly valid as well and lots of women apparently do this. Nothing wrong with it either.
Does he have medical reasons to object? Some women react badly to some form of pills, but surely he would mention this, especially since you would be the one reporting any negative sympthoms to him first.

Get a different doctor, his business is NOT to question your reasoning.
Since the pill to my knowledge can't be used for either suicide/murder/abortion he has nothing to object too.
Demand another doctor and report this one for breaching the code of conduct doctors are supposed to maintain. Unless Ireland is a LOT more primitive then other west european countries him commenting on your motives for taking the pill are WAY out of line and a serious violation of ethical standards.
