I feel so damn short.I used to be pretty tall compared to my class mates just a couple of years ago, now that I meet them on the streets it's surprising how much I haven't grown at all, as people who were shorter than me are now seemingly towering above me.Even my father was 3 inches taller than me! I once overheard my parents express disappointment that I haven't grown taller, and my sister makes fun of me at times for it.Lately I've been obsessing over my height even more. Is there any kind of diet that I can take up? Reply to this Question Share |

I never used to care about my height, but after hearing my my parents' disappointment, and that my father always wanted me to be taller than him, it made me think a lot more.
I heard that men stop growing round about 18-21, I just want to use whatever time I have left (If I have any) and make the most of it.

5.6 isnt that short! i dont think a guy would'nt go out with u just because of ur height, and if they did, you dont want to be with them anyways. besides, it proabbly makes guys feel bigger and stronger when they are taller then their girlfriends, and in the stereotypical relationships, isnt the girl shorter? i dont think u have anything to worry about!

One of my best friends from college was 5'6" (about my height) and she was head over feet in love with a guy who was (and presumably is) still considerably shorter. They didn't get married, but it had nothing to do with his height. She was really crazy about him, in fact, she went abroad just to see him. :)

No, there's no way to change your height. You've grown as high as you will.
Why does it bother you? I know this sounds like too easy a question. I used to feel bad about it when I was a teen-ager, too. As time went by, I learned not to worry about that.
Where I live, your 5.6", which is my height, by the way, make you an AVERAGE man.
I like to say that I keep growing, only that I have changed the direction of my growth: now I do it horizontally :-).
Honestly, don't sweat the small stuff. Trust me.
