Today I sent her a brief email this afternoon saying that I thought we got on well and would like to see her again but without wanting to appear too pushy or keen. I know she read it as I see she's been on the site this evening but she hasn't responded. My initial optimism is now quickly disappearing - am I right to feel that way or could it be she's just 'testing' how I react ?. I know the only thing I can do is wait, but I'm just a little disappointed she hasn't contacted me.

pavel38 is verified as being by the original poster of the questionThanks for the answers, the last thing I want to do is come over too expectant or eager, we've only met once & it's early days, hence why I don't want to make too much of a 'move', I said in my email that I thought we got on well & would like to catch up with her again, nothing less nothing more. To me if I contact her again after having already said what I did in the email (as the first responder suggests) implies that I am too pushy or keen so I'm going to leave it for at least another couple of days or so & see if I hear from her. Not that optimistic though, as we have each others mobile numbers so she could have texted me anytime...time will tell.

Don't be so eager. You are expecting too much too soon.

if she hasnt contacted you shes either testing you or wating for you 2 make the next move. girls are like that. she may just be shy and waiting for you. contact her, don't seem 2 pushy or desperate, just get to know her more and wait until YOU know how you feel.
