Hey babe, sorry you feel this way, It;s can be part of growing up and is not unusual not to worry to much, just accept these feelinsg and know in time it will pas. Try alos to talk to your Mom, a teacher that you trust and like and a school counselling service. It won;tlast forever. I promise. x

I am a medical student and assure you (that although some anti depressants are addictive) not all of them are. It's just a prejudice about psychiatry and their medication. .And cristing, feeling depressed and depressive disorder are not the same thing. We all feel depressed, because life is full of adversities. . But it becomes depressive disorder when depression becomes the centre, affecting your day to day life, affecting your performance in society. If you still think, you have depression of this severity, please go to a psychologist (who will counsel you) or a psychiatrist (who will give you medication, with counselling)..Hope that helped.(Edited by Senior Moderator)

We all go through depression depending on various triggers and thoughts some of us more so as we get older talk to your parents about what is bothering you or siblings or your friends find what the cause and trigger is that is making you upset and anxious and focus on the good in your life talking helps heal as well as meds but at same time anti depressants are highly addictive and should be avoided if possible seek councelling if you need it to help heal be it spiritual councelling from your padre or a councellor from school also try to get good nights rest that is important when dealing with anxiety practice relaxation techniques to help soothe and calm your mind as well meditation is good for this seek your GP for advice and info if you have to.
Depression is curable your not alone my friend seek help to beat it.

Hello, im 15 and i'm also depressed. I have suffered from this illness for 2years now. Don't worry, there's nothing wrong with you, go to your doctors and talk to them.. i am always here for a chat if you ever need a chat about depression.
It's nothing nice to go through, but with the support you need you'll be fine!

it is normal for millions of people, and children, and teens to be depressed at any time or at particular times in a person's life.
One in every four people will, at some stage in their life, need to seek professional support for their depression.
It's treatable.
And its very very normal.
We call in a nail specialist when we want pretty nails.
We call in a hair specialist when we want something done. A Dr treating depression is just another person providing specialist services that a person with specialist services they require..
Make an apppointment as soon as possible with the Doctor. Ask Dr to treat it. It is not something you ignore. It is a serious condition that will not just 'go
away'
