 well i think it is illegal as it is classed as statutory rape. u r under the age of consent. but once u r 16 it doesn't matter how old he is coz u will b over the age of consent. so if ur 16 soon i wudn really worry. well this is the law in the uk neway x

 hey hun um the people that have answered you question are kinda wrong lol its legal u have nothing to worry about the age of concent here is 14 and u can date any one up 2 the age of 23 but when u turn 16 ur ok up to 26-27 i kno that law like the back of my had iv had to stand up for my self in situations like that and i liketo have my facts straight b4 i argue a point so u have nothing to worry about the most that can happen is ppl can be mad but its none of there buisness realli its ur life and u can decide what to do for ur self well peace keep it reall and i love you!!!!!!!!!

 Darling, it is illegal as he is 23 and your under the legal age to have sex. He should of known that since he is the adult in this relationship. You guys need to slow down it has been 3 weeks, I hope that you know what your doing though. Good luck

I think it's probably illegal. Don't take this the wrong way either but I question the judgement of a man who wants to date a young lady your age. Especially if he knows he's doing something wrong. His interests shold be in older women.

 If you're in England then no it's not legal. The legal age is 16. But you're gonna be 16 in a couple of days so...I guess it's ok. Not ideal, but ok. If you're in America then the lagal age is 18. And again, no it wouldn't be legal and you've got a couple years to go before you can legally get it on.
Of course you can date him. That's legal...As far as I know anyway. Don't quote me on that. lol.

 i live in florida. different laws apply to different states. i would have to know which state you live in to give you a perfect explainable answer. i know that it is completely illegal where i am to have sex with an adult at you age. i know that the law here is this...if you are 16 and have consent from your legal guardians to be with a person over the age of 18 then it is legal, but it is illegal once you have sex with someone up to the age of 24 if you are still by law a minor. darling, i am sad to say that this is not a good choice. Breaking the law is something I personally take seriously. the thing is that if you both get caught, he could go to jail for a long time and his whole life will be ruined. but maybe you should google your states' statutory rape law. it might answer a few questions of yours.
