reader, anonymous, writes (25 August 2007): When I was 17 I dated a 15 year old, just like you! At first we were just friends and we liked each other but we only joked about how when he got older that we would date each other.
And then we went on a camping trip (oh my god I still get butterflies) and we just knew! It's like all of a sudden age didn't matter. It was awesome.
I woke up one morning and walked down to the beach and saw that he had written his name "loves" my name so big in the sand that an airplane flying by could have seen it. That was like his gift for me for when I woke up.
Look all I am saying is that I am 26 now and I have still never met someone that I liked as much as him. That's just sad but it's true! Go for it! You may have the same effect on her. :)

That's only two years, that's not so bad. I think it's totally conceivable!! I think you should keep being a great friend to her (believe me, girls dig that). Be honest, be considerate and be consistent. Good rules for friends and good rules for girlfriends.
