I was really into it while we were doing it but the next morning I was depressed. She didn't think it was a big deal but I made her promise not to tell anyone.Im not interested in girls besides being friends just boys really. So I don't know why I did this unless im gay or something and don't know it yet.

Hello,
Every teenage girl goes through what you’re going through its called part of growing up, I myself wondered once upon a time if I was gay due to the same thing happening with my best friend, at the time i was into it but the morning I too was depressed don’t be too hard on yourself, it’s a natural feeling at your age being attracted or wondering what it’s like with a girl, the point is you kissed a girl and now you know your more for boys everyone makes mistake's but learn from it. Every relationship needs to be worked at regardless if you straight or gay or even bisexual. Don’t worry about it.
Hope this helps

I agree with sweety pie, I have never had an experience like that, but i know people who have gone out with someone of their sex for a while and after a bit of experimenting decided that they were straight.

Um.. what exactly did you do?I think the same thing still applies. Im sure your BFF doesnt want it mentioned either, so if both of you stay quiet im sure it will be fine :)xx

I just wanted to say we did more then kissing
So im more worried about the other things we did
After it happened my bff said it was just messin around and not a big deal
but i don't want anyone at school or my parents to know
I don't want them to think im some sort of sex crazy or something like that
I worried because bff said since i had the big O i might be gay or bi or something

Having a same sex experience and enjoying it does not make you gay. It's confusing as hell when you're only 13 but it doesn't mean that you're gay.
If you identify yourself as straight, continue to do so. Lots of people straight have enjoyed same sex experiences and still consider themselves straight.
Try not to worry sweetie

A
reader, anonymous, writes (8 November 2009): You are at age where sexual experimentation is normal.
If you didn't enjoy it after the fact, then I wouldn't worry about it.
It is pretty normal for young people to explore their sexuality.

A

Alot of girls do what you have. Infact 2 out of 3 women have admitted to having a lesbien experence.
So dont worry bout it.

Your a bit young to know if your gay or not :)
Does it really matter either way?
I think you were just experimenting with your friend, your a teenagers and your hormones are all over the place, so you wont have a clue what your really want untill your a bit older.
But I wouldnt say you were gay, seeing as you like boys!
Just wait a little bit, untill everything is settled down and then you will know :)
Dont worry about it!
xx
