Hey. I know this is kinda dumb but... I need some ideas on where to take or what to do for a date with my girlfriend. We just officially got together and even though we've been out on dates before, I want to do something different, like special with her. Any ideas?

Awesome post bro!

Im sure you know her interests ... Ive always enjoyed taking women to dinner and a local comedy show. Or even dinner and movie and then ice cream. Also, yes, plays are a lot of fun and classy and if shes into dancing check out your local clubs for cool DJs. Its fall season and maybe youd wanna spend a nice afternoon with her at an apple orchard or pumpkin patch, then buy her a nice lunch or dinner, then carve pumpkins and watch a scary flick :D...whatever you do, dont take her to some place real expensive on first date cause that may give her the idea youre trying too hard to impress and also youre building an expectation. Find somethin between McD's and that five star steak lounge. Women love sit down places...olive garden, red lobster, maybe somethin' exotic like a thai place. Have fun and hope things turn out well for ya.

TasteofIndia agony auntTake her to a play!! It's better than a movie, a totally awesome experience, and you feel classy afterward. It will be something she never forgets.

Or, take her to the aquarium and then out for sushi. I love a good irony date. Good luck!

You could do something seasonal, something she couldn't do any other time of the year. You could take her to a pumpkin patch to pick out a pumpkin and then carve when you get home. Along those lines, you could go to a haunted house and then out for coffee after. It might be fun to take some rakes to the park, rake up some leaves and then jump in them. It seems silly, but it's a lot of fun and could create some great memories.

glassblower agony auntFirst off, lemme say this. YOU ARE AMAZING FOR DOING THIS FOR YOUR GIRL. Many boys just don't try to make dates special. And now for your answer.. How about a concert to a band she likes? A romantic dinner out? A picnic in the park? Hiking if she's athletic? A boating trip out on a lake or the ocean? Figure out who she is and what she likes to do. Sincerely, best of luck to you. xoxo glassblower
