my little sister was exactly like u, she had it on her leg joints and arm joints sometimes it would flare up everywhere she used to scratch it untill it bled. she is now 20 and u would never know she had it. she grew out of it. i dont why or if was the affect of the creams n lotions she used for years but from she was around 16 it disappeared. i hope the same will happen for u xxx

You go out and be proud of who you are. It's WHO you are, not WHAT you look like. And anyone who says anything that hurts you isn't worth a second of your time. There's nothing wrong with you. Just be a bit braver! x

Your problem is definitely not weird as skin disorders are very common indeed. I have had allergic breakouts since I was a teenager as it runs in my family. A doctor can prescribe steroid creams and shampoo if they are suited to you, or you could try to identify skin-triggers such as lotions that cause you bother. I also think you should take a zinc supplement as this is good for skin healing - but only as prescribed on the bottle, as too much zinc can be toxic. You should also use a non-scented lotion to rehydrate your skin when you get flakes - it helps you not to itch and scratch.

I was born with eczema... I had it till I was 27 (I am 29 now). I used EVERYTHING to get rid of it but nothing worked until I tried Kinesiology. See I had it on my hands, arms and face. There was no way to hide it. And it was so bad it bled and weeped all the time. I don't have it anymore but when I get stressed then bits of it come and go. Please look up kinesiology. Its a safe method and I promise you this worked for me. I suffered for a long time. You have to just accept eczema and not feel ashamed... its part of you. Good luck.. i feel your pain. xx

Cut 1 stem off and squeeze the juice out and rub it on your skin. It still comes back now again when I'm stressed or nervus about something. but it's alot better. I feel your pain and know what it's like. hang in there it wil get better...

hey mate!
I have exactly the same problem! I had eczema as a kid, it went away and came back - i'm 19 now. I know it really sucks, but you really just have to live with it i guess. I have it on my face and chest, which i can't really cover up easily, as well as my arms. I think the best thing to do is explain to people the situation, so they understand whats going on - this way at uni and work my friends are always reminding me not to scratch and to put on moisturiser. They all understand, so even when my face is horribly scabby and red, I don't feel too bad. I always remind myself that I'd really rather have eczema than acne, i suppose its the lesser of two evils! Have faith, it can still go away. My closest mate had eczema from about 3 years old, and it just disappeared recently - she's 20! There might be hope yet!!
Don't scratch!
mervy.
