Well, I did recently have a long time fantasy of watching my wife with another woman fulfilled, so what you want is unusual but hardly unheard of. There are quite a few things to consider though:Why do you want this? Are you happy with just watching (being a voyeur)? Can you see yourself wanting to join in? Or are you looking for a pretext to have extra-marital sex yourself (he did it, I want to too)? Is your relationship strong enough to withstand both the act and the aftermath? You need to discuss every eventuality.Have you discussed the idea with him? How does he feel about the idea itself (not the reality, just the idea)? You may well have to accept that he's not interested. On the other hand, nothing ventured, nothing gained.I have to agree with the call girl suggestion. We did exactly that ourselves - even asking a friend/aquaintence risks tainting said relationship even if nothing comes of the request. You also would have to contend with a third person's emotions and feelings on the matter, especially if the third party wants more after the event. Using a 'paid professional' precludes the risk of any emotional entanglements, you don't have to see each other again afterwards and you get to demand exactly what you want (within her limits) as you're paying.Lastly you HAVE to accept that no means no, and that he is fully within his rights not to agree to any of this at any time. You also run the risk of complicating your relationship in the future if he takes exception to the suggestion as you can hardly 'undeclare' the fantasy once you've confessed to it.

Seriously, in my experience no, it is not normal. However, there was an instance a little while ago where I was seeing a young lady strictly for sex (her rule)and she was desperate to see me perform with another woman - not really joining in - just watching and seeing what she felt like in certain places(!) I do believe though, that this is very rare.
In your case, be very careful about wrecking the foundation of your marriage. If I were the husband, after the initial excitement, I'd be questioning your love for me.
