 Brother, you can't let your sexuality hold you back. It should hold you back from 100% nothing! You are not defined by your sexuality, you are who you are, and you're a fella who likes playing rugby. That's what matters!
On the field, nobody cares if they're playing with a blonde, brunette or redhead, Black, White, Croatian, Korean, an accountant, a dentist or a mime, a married guy, a single guy, a gay guy or a straight guy. They just enjoy playing the game. And, if they're the kind of people who are somehow concerned with personal details of their team members life and that affects their training? Well, then these are clearly not the kind of people you want to be spending time with ANYWAY!
You should absolutely positively DO IT. Go for it, sweet!! Good luck!

 Dont let it stop you from doing what you want, I dont know anything about rugby but you could try this site i just googled http://international-gay-rugby-association-and-board.co.tv/. hope this helps you with making the dicision to stop thinking about what others think and do what you want to do...
