if your really sure you want to have sex there are a few options open to you
you can go on the pill but many people forget to take them
you can use a condom
you can have the pill injection but many people find they put on weight
i think the best way is to go the pill take for a week before sex and still use a condom
i hope this helps you out good luck

I agree with everyone one else pill and condoms no birth control is 100% effective but you would have to be extremly unlucky to get pregnant while using both and never fall for "it doesnt feel as good with a condom" always protect yourself never open condom packets with your teeth always check the date and never use any lubes that could errode the condom and always squeeze the tip when you put it on trapped air on the inside could cause it to burst and as Corpus Dei said antibiotics effect the pill so dont use just the pill if your taking antibiotics, and if you miss a pill and leave it over 12 hours before the next one use a condom.

Well if you're that scared of getting pregnant you probably shouldn't have sex.
While today's contraceptives are really effective at preventing pregnancy, NONE of them are 100% effective. Which means there are times when these products fail. More than often it is user error that caused the failure in the product rather than the product itself just failing.
So you can either wait until your married to have sex - which if you're married then getting pregnant isn't a problem (unless the couple is in dire financial straits) or you can try any of the contraceptives on the market today and choose the one that best suits your needs. Consult your physician about birth control options for you.
And like frizzylizzy said, use condoms.
Hope this helps.

Just what frizzylizzy said. Head down to you local Planned Parenthood center (you can find them in the phonebook or call 1-800-230-PLAN for a local US center) or local community health center and get on the pill. While you're there, get some condoms. You'll need to be on the pill for at least a month before it becomes fully effective, and remember that if you take any antibiotics it can reduce the effectiveness of the pill. When you have sex, use a double barrier method (you on the pill, him wearing a condom). Don't put up with any of him going "I don't like condoms", or "It's just not as good". If he won't wear a condom to help keep the two of you safe from STDs and pregnancy, he isn't worth sleeping with.

firstly get yourself on the pill, then always use condoms.. You don't know what STD's are hanging around out there....
