But in order for you to do it comfortably and do it in the best possible way so that he gets the maximum enjoyment, he could perhaps think of trimming his hair. Wouldn't it be great? What does he think of it. And if he did not like the experience (which is very unlikely) he could grow them again.
How does the idea sound?

You put it on (its a cream) wait 10 min's and the shower does the rest. It just falls off and no shaving or timley trimming involved. Too easy!
Takes 15 min's and he's squeaky clean ;)

 Ask him what he prefers on a girl, bare, trimmed, natural etc.
In my experience guys of our age group will always go for option one or two. If his preferences require you to look after your own pubic hair (or lack thereof) then that's a fairly easy launching pad to get him to look after his own.
Instead of pointing out what you DON'T like, point out that you like trimmed, or that you think it would be sweet if he would trim it for you since you trim it for him.
