It happens, sometimes with the pill you get light spotting (light bleeding that only lasts a day or two). Its nothing to worry about!
Your body has a natural rhythm and being on the pill adds even further stability to your menstrual cycle. Your body knows exactly when it should be expecting your period, so when another pill entered your system when your body wasnt expecting it, the rhythm got disturbed hence you bled a little.
Dont take another packet straight after you finish this cycle otherwise you will really mess your bodies rhythm up! It is totally harmless to take one pack after another but it is not advisable to do this months and months in a row. You need a period to get rid of your womb lining each month, so if you dont allow yourself a period for an extended period of time then you will get a massive build up of your womb lining and the next period you have will be truly horrific!
Nature has given us a menstrual cycle for a reason, and it works pretty well on its own. When we start altering it, there will always be little side effects, like your bleeding. Try and let nature run its course as much as possible!
I hope this helps and good luck!

It's called "breakthrough bleeding". Your body has it's schedule and it takes a little while to get it on a new schedule.
