I ran into my childhood crush, things were going great, we slept together...and now he seems more distant

I made a big mistake. You would think a woman 44 years old would know better. I ran into a man i had a huge crush on when I was in High School. We bacame friendly while online where we belonged to many of the same sites. Once we exchanged phone numbers we spoke and text many times per day for at least three weeks. He invited me over many times and I knew that declining was the best thing. I was afraid that my vunerability and attraction to him would get the best of me and I would give in.

After his constant comments of why not ... I gave in one night after three Margaritas at home. I jumped in my car and went to visit. As I predicted i slept with him.

The many times per day of phone calls and texts declined and I seem to be the one intiating them and him responding. I feels so bad because I really thought we made a connection.

Should I be honest and tell him how I feel or should I just let it go.

Well I am the same age as you and understand how you feel. You know what is going to happen but in effect feel powerless to resist. I have done similar things. I think that the guy is not as interested as you are and for that reason I would back off totally and wait for him to come to you. If the phone calls and texts have dwindled then let it fade away. Under no circumstances should you ring or text as this looks a bit desperate which will totally put him off. Put this down to experience that you had a good time but now it is ending andn accept that.

I know im young but i had an experience which i posted on here which changed my view on women and how to treat them. I mean i wasnt a sleezebag before and the experience was my first time but it made me realise that there is more to sex then just sex...But as a reply i got said "most men dont learn this in a life time"

So i reckon you should treat this as a mistake in which you can learn from and just be strong.. like set rules for yourself...which is what im doing am gladly keeping to them as they are making me a better person.... As people say... "When life gives you lemons. make lemonade"

Just make the most out of a bad experience

ilovebowsandcherries agony auntwell he seems to have gotten what he wants and he thinks that's it.

end of.

maybe that's what he tried to do for so long and took advantage.

if you still feel for him then yeah definately tell him how you feel maybe he's being distant because he feels you may regret it.

or maybe you just leave him stew and let him do the running perhaps he realised you got feelings for him and he feels guilty.

or he could just be a complete and utter d*** head and just think yeah i got mine time to move onto someone else and has no sort of emotion towards the situation that happened.

if you feel this guy is worth your feelings then tell him by all means but if not then don't just leave him he's obviously not bothered about talking to you so why should YOU always make an effort.

he's got your number to call if he wants to speak to you.

hell you let him chase you.

Hope this helps :)

you gave up to much ..he got the gold now he doesnt want the left overs and hes gone..

you should have been more ..sticking to the morals and see how he really felt about you..he got to have the honey and now he doesnt want anymore..its over..move on ..

best thing you can do is chalk this up as a lesson

next time you will see if he really wanted to be with you.

seems he didnt ..move on.its over..

and quite mixing drinks ..your not a drinker..you can't find love in a bottle always remember that..only death..

remember that..its real.
