rammsteinfan agony auntI just seen a commercial on tv about a collection of language learning cds that make learning a new language fast and easy...but I can't recall the name of it. I will make a further research on it, and let you know the name of it. I heard that Spanish is an easy language to learn..(and that The English language is one of the hardest!!) Just send me a private message and I will be sure to give you the name of it, ok?

God Bless!!

dragonette agony auntI know what it'slike to be in a new country and not speak the language. It's very frustrating until you learn, but believe me; unless they're linguistic snobs, nobody is going to think you're an idiot for trying to say something. Generally people appreciate when you're trying to talk to them in their language. And it's also the best way to get to a speaking level.

I think that if you really like him and you don't know Spanish, you are going to have to just put all the words and subtelties aside and get him to go DO something with you. I don't know if you have any friends that speak better spanish than you, but maybe all of you could go somewhere and do something physical(beach volley, for example) and ask the guy to come along. That way you would hang out and not need words.
