is gaining a boyfriend more important than a friend?
i did something just like this, i chose to date the guy because the friend was miserable to me after they broke up, and because she didnt want to be my friend i got the boy(he is now my bestfriend and love),got more friends, and my life all around improved.
this wont always happen, and i did lose the best friend i had.
so decide....do you want a boy who could be alot or nothing to you, or your friend's trust and support forever.

 not being nasty but, have you thought of the way your friend would feel if her "best friend" snached her boyfriend off her the second they split, how bitter would she feel, how bitter would you feel if she did that to you.
cut the middle man out, literally. talk to her, find out how she feels, give it time. is your friendship able to cope with what your willing to do?
