I also have never really had a relationship (unless u count my first one of a few months with a guy who turned out to be gay or a few month long distance thing).I am overweight nd always have been but I think its gotten worse because I have no one to motivate me to look good.I am also really busy because I'm working on my doctorate so I can't just go troll dating websites or bars all the time :(I'm starting to get worried I will never find someone and I will have to resort back to hooking up if I want to have sex (something I don't really want to do).Any advice?

Wow!You're 25 and you're doing your phd?I envy you! Being overweight isnt an issue:fat people are having good sex,and there are lots of guys who'd like to have sex with you.But if you're looking for a relationship then you have to spot someone,and make an effort to know them better....Its kinda rare for someone to find you in your closed world.

if u want sex,dress up,go to a club,have a few drinks and BAM.
if u want a relationship,u need to try harder than that.
