It's nothing to be ashamed of but if you don't want to tell your friends just say to them that it's a personal matter and you don't want to discuss it. If you want more information and support there are a few groups online that can help. If you want I could give you a link or two to get you started.

Not everyone is into fine dining. Some people hate to shop. There are folks who would rather poke an eye out than dance. We're all different. This may be a temporary phase for you, or you may be asexual. Either way, it leaves you with more time for the stuff that does interest you.Lots of people are/have been asexual--think about nuns!

Trust me, its normal not to be interested in sex. i mean not everyone has to have sex to be happy, it helps sometimes, but definetly not needed. plus, maybe your not interested in it yet because you havent met anyone that you truely want to have sex with.. maybe you were just forcing yourself to have sex with someone else because you knew that they wanted it.. and i'm sure that if that is the case, then you will probably meet a great person one day and you will start to enjoy sex, not just for him/her, but because you both want it =)
