I have had my period twice this month and both have been light, why is this?

You are very young still. It may take a year for your periods to become regular. In the meantime have you been under more stress lately? Are you taking any medications that can interfere with your hormones? You say your periods were light, so there is probably not a bleeding problem. Talk you your doctor for the best advice. Take care

Hi there. Have you only just started getting your period?

If so, they might not be quite ready to start fully yet.

If you've been getting them for a year or more, you might have a hormone imbalance. To be sure, check it out with your GP. He might do a blood test.
