I have been getting really smelly discharge recently, its worse after i have had sex with my partner but its not the sex that is causing it. Its sort of like a watery discharge and it smells a bit fishy, its horrible. It doesnt matter how many times i wash it comes back an hour or so later. Does anyone know what may be causing this? i have been to the doctors and he gave me some cream but that worked for about a week and then it came back and i have also been tested for any infections so i know that i havent got any diseases. Please help, i have been to the doctors, 3 times, once he gave me tablets, second time cream and the third time tablets but none of it seems to work and they cant see anything else is wrong but i know that this isnt normal for me, yes i always get discharge but its never this smelly, its horrible!! can anyone suggest what this could be? please help.

Do not worry! This amy mean that your PH is off and also you may have bacterial vaginosis, that is not an STD! But if you continue to have unprotected sex with your partner you run the risk of contracting this bacteria each time. so try Refresh it is a new over the counter solution for feminine itching and odor. Go to your health care provider and get an antibiotic that will get rid of the bacteria. Refrain from sex also for a while because semen can also be left over in the vagina and cause a smell.

Sounds as if your partner is reinfecting you - the cream is workig at first and then you have sex and get reinfected. You need to get your partner to be tested also.

shortandsweet408 agony auntWell if it isn't an std (FOR SURE) My only guess would be a bad yeast infection that won't go away - Keep pressuring your doctor to do more, also talk to your mom or an older woman close to you. Hope everything is fine

It definitely sounds like a bacteria infection. It can easily be treated with an antibiotic. I went through the same thing once. My doctor gave me an antibiotic and it went away. After you clear it up, you need to make sure that you don't douche, don't use scented soaps or tampons. The scents can cause the infection to come right back. You shouldn't need these things to smell alright anyway once you get it cleared up. Good luck. Call your doctor.
