writes:i have a huge crush on my science teacher mr m....... because, his irish, his only 23, he has nice blue eyes and brown hair, and he is really nice to me.i think that he might have a crush on me too because everyone else who he teaches has that his a horrible teacher cuz he shouts at them, but he never shouts at me, his all ways realy nice to me. like i allways go early to his class and when he sees me he askes if im okay, and he dont help other people much with there work much, he would walk around the class checking people are okay, then he would come up to me and ask if i understand it, he would tell me the awnsers to the questions and explain the work. he would get really close to me while his explaining it abdomen put his hand on my book.and whenever i as to borrow a pen he would smile sweetly and say yeah sure and give it to me but whenever anyone else asks for a pen he would shout and them say why didnt you bring a pen thats a C1 ( a c1 is a warning for a detention and its minus points) one time i asked him for a pen, he said okay, then the person next to me asked for a pen and he said why didnt you bring your own pen, he walked off and came back with 2 pen, 1 was all chewd from when he lent it to some one else and it was dirty, and the other pen was new, at first he put the chewd pen on my table but then he said oh i dont think that pen works have this one instead. he put the new pen infront of me and gave the chewd pen to the person next to me.whenever his taking the register at the start of class he would go through the names quickly and when he got to my name he would stop for a minute and look at me the carry on.when we had perents evening and i went to see him first, i walked into the hall, where all the science, maths and english teachers were, i saw him sitting at a table in the middle of the hall, i started walking over to him and he started stareing at me. he then started talking to my mum, my friend then walked behind he and said my name and i accidentally giggled then my teacher laughed at my gigglingthe day after parents evening i was in his lesson and we were doing this thing where we had to awnser questions, when he started asking people to say the awnsers he was standing in front of me and i was writing down the awnsers, we were on the second to last question and he read the question out then suddenly he slamed his hand in front of me on the table and got his face close to me and looked me in the eyes, so i just told him the awnser.when ever he is speaking/ teaching the class he woud keep looking at me then say do you understand so i would just nod my head.on time i go tp his class early after lesson 3 and it was just me and him for a long time and he was being polite and talking to me about the lesson i just hadat the beging of the week we got a new teacher, i used to have four lessons a week with him now i only have 2. so i went to his class and asked if we had him today, he said no and smiled a nice sweet warm smile, he asked me where i was supose to be and i said i think room 210, he said okay are you gonna go, then i said i dont know where it is, so he told me were it was and before i went to go find the room he said make sure you make a good first impresion. ever time he sees me he always stares at me, every thursday he always stands out side the gate and when he sees me him stares, like the other day, like the othe day i walked out the gate and i saw him, he was in the middle of the path and he was stareing at me as i was walking passed him, he watched me walk out of the gate and down the path.do you think this shows the he likes me?, everything i said there was true, and i really wanna know if he likes me cuz i really like him and i dont want the feeling to go.... thanx

 In addition, other teachers who have wanted to be in the career they love have to leave because they become the target of obsessed girls. We had one teacher here who reported his teenage stalker actually tried to contact his girlfriend to make her leave him! Crazy!
We have literally hundreds of questions on this topic in the archives. I would suggest anyone finding themselves in the position of having a crush on their teacher:
a) Talk to their parents
b) Read all these questions
and only then ask the question here.
If a teacher is being appropriate and making advances to a student, then he should not be a teacher and needs to be reported to the school authorities or police.

 I WISH the kids with crushes on teachers would come back later on in life and let us know how it went and how they got over it and that they DID get over it and it was just a crush, that the teacher really didn't feel the way about them that they imagined.
In 1977 i was 17 years old and I had a crush on my English Teacher.... He was young (I had no idea how old he was but recently found out he was only 23 at the time) and cute, and he didn't wear a suit to teach (all the men wore suits up until just around that time so not wearing one was a big deal) and had LONG hair (teachers did not have long hair back then)
I can to this day see him in my mind... OMG I had such a crush.. I LOVED HIM SO... I even told him in my year book to write something different... so he did... HE WROTE
"next time bring champagne"
OMG i nearly died.... and guess what... IT MEANT NOTHING TO HIM... he was merely amused that a YOUNG GIRL had a crush on him. That's right honey... Teachers are well aware which students have crushes on them. It amuses them and brightens their day but nothing more.... and it will pass for you.
I can tell you that I can't remember ANYTHING about that yearbook but i can remember that... do you realize this is nearly FORTY YEARS AGO????

 I'm sure he likes you - as a student, nothing more. I'm a teacher and I like lots of my students. I am not attracted to any of them. I don't know any teacher who is attracted to his or her students. He appreciates the fact that you're on time and studious but I'm sure that's as far as it goes for him. You're reading into his behaviour but those things don't mean anything. Don't make a fool of yourself or put him in the embarrassing position of having to tell the principal, because believe me, he would. It's a crush and it's nice but you'll get over it.

 Dear OP,He's 23 your I'm assuming 14 or 15!its quite normal for girl your age to have crushes on your teachers BUT you should limit urself to that!Now since you like him, you might be misinterpretating all his signs and that makes you think he likes you too! NO, OP, I doubt this young man would put his job in jeopardy and he's an educated young teacher he knows his limits with students! You're thinking wayy too much into this!You might be his favourite student,for a fact you come early to class, keep up with your school, he sees u as a dedicated young girl, you should be proud of that! I highly doubt he would want anything more from you other than you doing well academically!your a young teen now focus on school, meet other boys your age.
