I agree with Eve's advice. There is the possibility that he simply misplaced the number, but I'm sorry to say it; if he was really into you then he would make sure he didn't lose it right?
You said that you gave him your number, did he ask for it? Does he actually have a reason to call or text? Perhaps send him a short text just to say hello and see what his reply is.

There could be many reasons, maybe he misplaced it, he could have put the number in wrongly or maybe he doesn't fancy you. Best thing to do is drop him a text and asking him how he is, that way he'll have your number again and if he texts back then take it from there, if he doesn't then you'll know for sure he's not interested.
