I gained a baby but lost my period. Is this a problem?

my pregnancy end it a year ago a got a healthy 1 year old baby but up to now i did not get my period back. there is any problem with me?

meg2989 agony auntAre you breast feeding? If you are still breast feeding that could be the cause. Most women do not have their period while breast feeding nor do they get their period until they stop breast feeding. I hope that helps!

Tisha-1 agony auntWhat explanation did your doctor have? That's who I'd ask if I were you. There might be absolutely nothing wrong. Then again, there might be something wrong, and wouldn't it be better to find out from an expert who has actually examined you?

eyeswideopen agony auntTrust me I know from experience, even though you are nursing and are not having periods, YOU CAN STILL GET KNOCKED UP! Ask any Catholic. Talk to your doctor.
