Remember friends are forever, boys come and go. Don't let a boy come in between your friendship. That is too important. I don't know how much you read the questions on here. Someone asked a question in regards to not being able to forgive their friend still, after they dated their ex seven years before that.
In this situation, you date him, fine (she's jealous) she dates him, fine, (your jealous). What starts to happen to your relationship if you have one person jealous. It begins to fizzle out. The one who's jealous is going to avoid being in contact with the happy couple, to protect their feelings.
This would be asking for trouble, and if you value your friendship, both of you need to find boys that the other one isn't attracted to as well.

If your friend knows your in love with this lad then of course she will say somthing. If this lad likes you as well as you like him you may just hit it off, just beware of the jelous friend of yours.
