writes:Hi,I jsut wondered what people think about people who look quite a lot younger than they are. I am 22 and some people have recently told me I only look about 18. Sometimes I often personally think that I even look younger than 18.I have started obsessing about this lately and am getting really down about it because I feel as if guys my age don't want to be with me because I look too much younger than I really am (they think I'm younger than I am because of my looks so they don't bother with me). I have had a few boyfriends in the past who have all been a few years (four at most) older than me (last relationship was nearly five years aqo - ended badly - and the last time I casually dated was last year). I don't wear make-up to try and make myself look older either and this did not put off my previous boyfriends.Would be grateful if anyone could help with this, especially guys. Thanks!

I don't think you need to worry at all. I think it's more likely that your lack of confidence in yourself. Guys aren't attracted to low confidence. I'm sure there are plenty of guys out there who will fancy you. You just need to have more confidence in yourself and be a but more picky about who you date.

 I think maybe it's more a problem of self confidence than of looking younger. I don't think that a guy your age would be put off by a girl that looks 18 but acts,talks and carry herself like a 22 y.o., I suppose he should find that attractive.
Anyway mine is a frivolous Italian suggestion and is :do wear make up. Come on,give it a try. You don't have to make a habit out of it, but it's fun for once playing with your image and seeing yourself under a different light. If you let your more sophisticated, alluring,polished self emerge
through make up then this image will stay with you to inspire you and give you confidence also when when you don't wear make up.

There are a ton of guys out there. Maybe it's time to venture out beyond the ol' neighborhood. Take in new sights. Nothing wrong with you! Do whatever it takes to realize that you are awesome as you are. Everything else will be better when you are better about yourself.
I'm a lot older than the guys you're hoping to date. When I was in my 20's, the women I wanted to date were educated and confident. Their education was apparent. The confidence, at least, a good facade. Aside from physical looks, confidence and smarts are quickly discernable.
