"she thinks i've got over her and i havn't"
It is the most important part in your post.
You are probably fancying her in one of the following ways:
#1 - she is so much beautiful, she turns you on physically;
#2 - thinking about her all the time and your heart beats;
#3 - loving her is forbidden, fancying is all you can do.
Please choose one of the above what is the most accurate.
Answers are here: #1 is lust, #2 is crush, #3 is temptation.
My explanation is to help you understand what you should do.

Dear Can't Spell,
As the deputy head's daughter her written english might be better than yours, so you could easily ask her to spend a few hours a week after school helping you with your spelling. Her father will greatly admire your efforts to improve your studies, and she will be flattered that you have asked her for help, so you win on both counts.
Ezy!
gud luck,
Dr. Surgel
