help ! i really need advice. im friends with a guy-just friends ! and recently hes been asking to come to my house. im ashamed of the condition its in-it needs a lot of decorating and some of the floors are bare ! also i havent been totally straight with him as he thinks i rent with my sister and i actually live with my mum and sister as thanks to a grasping ex leaving me on the verge of being homeless i had to move back. i was too ashamed to tell him any of this. im in despair as eventually he'll want to come around and i dont know what to do. at the moment we're trying to get the place fixed but i have no relatives i can ask to help, mums on a low income and its just me and my sis working. i just wish i knew what to do :(

You're in the process of renovating? No worries, relax, my sister's place is a friggin' nightmare, and yet she's always got a party with loads of friends, neighbors. As long as it's a happy home, it's a good home.

The thing to do hun is be honest with this guy... if he likes you that much the condition of your house, so long as it is clean, should not matter at all.

Tell him, like you have told us, about your circumstances and I am sure he will understand. If he doesn't, then he is extremely shallow and isn't worth dating.

Chill hun and I am sure all will be fine.
