well first things first you say you dont eat much??well it could be that the little things you do eat have a lot of calories in them...so you need to count calories the average person consumes 2,000 calories a day try to cut back at least to 1,500 but for healthy weight loss you need to have at least 1,200 calories..now then there is no reason to ban ceartin food from your diet...for the most part it's the calorie content you want to look at...me i have a small dove choclate bar every other day(200 calories)have lunch(220-320 colories)have dinner(300-420 calories)and breakfast(220-280 caloreis)a snack(1 apple,1 banana,9 mini carrrots, and some grapes)and iv lost over 30 lbs treat yourself sometimes to something sweet otherwise it gets a little dull tho i must try to not drink soda's(average can around 170 calories)and choclate is actually better for you then once thought...however try and excersise too and build some muscle as muscle's help the body burn more calories..but my mother(a CNA)was taking care of a man who was 320 lbs she just restricted him to 15,000 calories a day and little over a year later he was down to 190 so a diet alone can really do the trick but it helps a lot to excersise...good luck

I'm afraid there isnt an easy way around it.

Most diets you read about are completely unrealistic and you'll gain the weight once you finish.

Eating healthily and exercising regularally is the best thing you can do.

Swimming and running are especially affective.

You could always join a slimming group to help spur you on.

It is advised that people should do 30 minutes excerise, five times a week.

If you're not losing any weight then it might just be that you're already at a perfect size.

A female reader, growing India +, writes (5 May 2008):

growing agony auntYou said you don't eat much, but may be whatever you eat adds on to your weight. Well, first step to get into shape is to ban carbs (potato and rice), fat and all the junk food (chips, aerated drinks, chocolates, cakes, all kinds of sweets etc).

This may sound a little absurd but you have to. If you are looking for some instant results.

So now what you can eat without feeling guilty and that will be healthy too.

1. fruits (avoid banana) and salads - you can eat apple, oranges, and all other. You can even live on fruit. They are tasty and fat free and will just give you nutrients not extra calories.

2. drink lots of water - this will help in digestion and will add glow to your skin, and yes make sure that you don't drink water within 40 mins of completing your meal.

3. in spite of having cheese sandwich, go for palin one, these small compromises will pay off.

4. make sure you don't eat after 7:30 pm.

Now the second step is YOGA. Well i strongly recommend yoga if someone wants to loose weight, as you can do it anywhere, all you need is a mat.

http://www.medindia.net/animation/surya_namaskar.asp

Well to know, apt yoga postures, do a little bit of surfing and if you can't get across then let me know. I will type some specific postures. alrite?

Hope i helped you out. Cheers!!

Diets never work long term - if you really do think you are overweight and you want to do something about it then you need to adjust your diet so you consume less calories and increase your physical activity so you burn more calories. Cut down on bad snacks, such as crisps, chocolate, and check your meal portion sizes so you aren't eating too many carbohydrates.

A lot of people in their teens and twenties worry too much about how they look and they think there are things wrong with them when actually there aren't. What's really wrong with being a little overweight? Would you be happy if you lost a few pounds or would you find something else to be critical of? Try and concentrate on what is good about you, rather than what needs changing about you.

I would say you should excerise. Walking, running, stretching, yoga- these will all get the ball rolling!
